Wind Whispers

by Barbara Faith

WRITTEN ON THE WIND... In the ancient Yucatan the God of the Wind had once watched as two lovers ran headlong into tragedy. Would that story be enacted once again? Joanna Morrow and Carlos Quintana met to work on a mural celebrating Mexico's past. They were to paint the story of the lovers, and as their own love consumed them Joanna grew afraid that they, too, were destined for unhappiness. In the shadow of the time-shrouded pyramid they faced the angry God of the Wind. But this time it was the wind who died, as the lovers became eternal victors.
