Odissi Sangita Baridhi ଓଡ଼ିଶୀ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ବାରିଧି
ବିଂଶ ଶତାବ୍ଦୀରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶୀ ସଙ୍ଗୀତର ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ସମର୍ପିତ ସାଧକମାନେ ନେତୃତ୍ୱ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା କବିସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟନଗର(ବୋଇରାଣୀ)ର ଅଷ୍ଟାବଧାନୀ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତାରିଣୀ ଚରଣ ପାତ୍ର (୧୮୯୩-୧୯୭୯) ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ। ସେ ଏକାଧାରରେ ଜଣେ ଗାୟକ, ନାୟକ, କବି, ବୀଣାକାର, ଭକ୍ତ ଓ ଗୁରୁ । ପୁରାତନ ଗୁରୁବୃନ୍ଦଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଉତ୍କଳୀୟ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଭଣ୍ଡାରର ଦୁର୍ଲ୍ଲଭ ରତ୍ନ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ସେ ନିଜ ଜୀବନକୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରି, ‘ଗାନ୍ଧିଜୀ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ କଳାମନ୍ଦିର’ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସହସ୍ରାଧିକ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ସଙ୍ଗୀତର ସଂଜୀବନୀ ମନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଦୀକ୍ଷିତ କରାଇ, ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ଜଗତରେ ନିଜର ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଚୟ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଅନେକ ଦଶନ୍ଧି ଧରି ତାଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାପଦ୍ଧତି ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାର ପରିସରରୁ କ୍ରମଶଃ ତିରୋହିତ ହେଉଥିବାବେଳେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପଟ୍ଟଶିଷ୍ୟ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ରାମାରାଓ ପାତ୍ର ଗୁରୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପଦକୁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟପୂର୍ବକ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଏକତ୍ର କରି ଲୁପ୍ତପ୍ରାୟ ରତ୍ନତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଉତ୍କଳୀୟ ରାଗ-ରାଗିଣୀ ଓ ଗୀତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁନଃ ଲୋକଲୋଚନକୁ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଥିରେ ତାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତୀକ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ବିଶେଷ ନିଷ୍ଠା ଓ ଶ୍ରମ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରି ସମସ୍ତ ଗୁରୁଭାର ସହ ପାଣ୍ଡୁଲିପି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସଙ୍ଗୀତଜ୍ଞ ଏବଂ କଳାକାରମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଏହି ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟ ପୁସ୍ତକଟିକୁ ଅନୁଧ୍ୟାନ କରି ପୁରାତନ ଗୀତଗୁଡ଼ିକର ପୁନଃପ୍ରଚାରରେ ନିଜକୁ ବ୍ରତୀ କରାଇ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିକୁ ଉଦ୍ଭାସିତ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ଆଶା। This is a book on Odissi classical music as taught by the late 20th-century maestro Acharya Tarini Charan Patra of Kavisuryanagar, Ganjam who was the scion of a lineage of several notable composer-poets of medieval Odisha. The first half of the book contains a biography of the late Acharya and a hithero unpublished commentary on the treatises of Odissi music by Tarini Charan Patra, dating back to the 1960s, as well as other research articles. The second half contains notations of 138 rare songs in 60 ragas, with elaborate musical explanations highlighting the practical aspects of Odissi music. The book has been authored by Pt. Ramarao Patro, renowned Odissi musician and Binakara, one of the celebrated students of the late Acharya, with the help of his disciple Prateek Pattanaik, an Odissi musician and researcher.
