Brought up to think of herself as an orphan, Alix Farley learned, to her surprise and joy, that she had a mother after all. The discovery that her mother was the world-famous singer, Nina Varoni, added a heady new excitement But Alix soon realized that a part of Varoni's wonderfully glamorous world meant living a lie.
