Joy & anger

by Jennifer Blake

Julie Bullard is dedicated to her vision of the movie she's filming on location in a Louisiana swamp. She wants realism, the true essence of the hot, primeval land and the people who live there. What she needs is someone who knows the treacherous waterways and can insure the authenticity of what she puts on film. She needs Rey Tabary, the mysterious and handsome Cajun known as the Swamp Rat. Rey has better things to do with his time than nursemaid a bunch of Hollywood types. He'd turn down the hot female director's request that he act as technical director for her movie--if he didn't suspect a connection between the arrival of the film crew and the sudden influx of drugs into his swamp. And if he didn't suspect the lady might be in danger. Tension escalates as death stalks the night swamp. Julie must trust the Swamp Rat to keep her and her movie set safe--even as his kisses jeopardize everything else in her life
