Scent of the Maquis

by Barbara Cust

Marisa was in Corsica to search for the brother she had not seen for years but who she thought was somewhere on the island. It would have been a hopeless search had it not been for the help and friendship of Blake Wantage, who had put himself out on her behalf from the moment she arrived. She did not succeed in finding her brother - but she did manage to fall in love with Blake! But it was a love that would have to be kept secret, most of all from Blake himself and from the glamorous Giselle Lambert - for it was plain that in due course Blake would marry Giselle. Would Marisa's heart be broken in the process?
