The Station Boss

by Jane Corrie

Sheena has been working at the ranch run by her ex-fiancé after her father absconded with the company payroll. Out of the blue, Clay Dayman from a cattle station up north brings word that her father has died and has left her a small inheritance. When the former fiancé suggests that he just set her up in an apartment in Sydney, she realizes she has to leave with Clay. But she is surprised when he also has a strange suggestion for her, to pretend to be engaged to him as a means to help his niece Vicky recover from a terrible family tragedy.
