The Late Lord Latimer

by Diana Campbell

A sudden inheritance allows Kate Morrow the opportunity to travel to England from Bermuda to find her late parents' relatives. But a chance encounter with a wealthy businessman at an inn prior to her ship's sailing leads her to hope that he might help her secure an entree to London society. When he dies later that night however, she resigns herself to her original plan. Yet upon arriving in London with no definite place to go, she finds herself posing as the late businessman's daughter, and is taken up by his titled relatives. This ruse though means she also finds herself unexpectedly saddled with a fiance, even as she is drawn to his charismatic cousin.
