The far arena cover

The far arena

by Richard Sapir

A frozen body is buried under 8.2 meters of solid ice until discovered by an oil exploratory crew and taken to a research hospital where efforts are made to restore the body to life. Thus begins the story of Lucius Aurelius Eugenianus, one of the greatest gladiators of ancient Rome. The story switches back and forth from the present to the past and the final awakening of Eugenianus. Eugenianus is helped by a Catholic nun and scholar Olava who speaks Latin, the only language of the Gladiator.. A great story.
