Bitter harvest
It was at her engagement party that Raine met the forceful Greek Darius Kallergis, who announced there and then that he wanted her and intended to have her - and as a result ruined her chances of a rich and titled husband. Furious, she determined to be revenged on him. And so here she was in Greece, living in a beautiful house in fabled Delphi, surrounded by every luxury and comfort, the wife of a rich and handsome man with whom, belatedly, she had fallen in love. Yet for all that Raine was desperately unhappy. And it was no consolation at all to know that it was all her own fault.
