From Sammy with love

by Anne Lorraine

Midge’s whole world was comprised of her father, her childhood friend Kate and her beloved Peter, whom one day she would marry. And then, quite suddenly, her world was turned upside down, and it seemed as if nothing could ever again be right for her. Even her beautiful old home, Windswept, was taken over by a group of doctors, and turned into a home for convalescent children. Midge did find happiness again, ultimately, but in a way that she would never have dreamed of. And a little boy, Sammy, had a large part to play in this re-shaping of Midge’s life.
