Bob met Ivan and Ruby in the book, ‘The One and Only Ivan’ which is the first book, and this is the second. They met in a circus. The first one was about Ivan the gorilla and the second is about Bob the dog. As a hurricane approaches and time is running out, Bob finds courage he never knew he had and learns the true meaning of friendship and family.
