To make the text suitable for Mechanical Engineers, the chapters on slip, dislocations, twinning, residual stresses and hardening mechanisms have been eliminated and the treatments in other chapters about of ductility viscoelasticity, creep, ceramics and polymers have been simplified"--Provided by publisher.
