Sex & Relationships

by John P. Elia

While there are numerous books on sexual relationships, this one is unique in that it is a collection of writings that represent disparate points of view about various aspects of sexual relationships. Most books on sexual relationships are usually written by one or two authors and are usually narrowly focused (e.g., on marriage, heterosexuality, etc.) and are either too technical or too simplistic. There is rarely the perfect book. However, this volume's strength is that it is a collection of writings that express numerous points of view about several issues. On the whole, the chapters were chosen because they are scholarly and detailed yet at the same time not so abstract as to lose the practical applicability of the ideas contained on the following pages. --- excerpt from book's Preface
