This is the story of Briony, a young ballerina, and Daniel, a neuro surgeon. Briony meets Daniel's brother Christopher first, and thinks she's fallen in love with him. Chris is engaged to another girl and soon dumps Briony. Daniel genuinely loves Briony and when she gets into financial trouble and has her handicapped older sister Fay to take care of as well, Daniel offers a 'marriage of convenience' - Briony accepts, and later, realises she loves Daniel, but his ex-fiancee comes back on the scene....!
