Advanced engineering mathematics. cover

Advanced engineering mathematics.

by C. Ray Wylie

The book begins with Ordinary Differential Equations and continues till complex analysis with special stress on providing proofs of involved theorems and development of analytical thought. The book is not application or some exam specific. It rather is closer to pure mathematics than any Advanced Engineering Mathematics text I came across during my engineering course. Linear Algebra, Vector Calculus are also covered. Partial Differential equations are covered as a separate section and is in great great detail. The book must not be read with the thought that one had read the topics before, or even with guessing how long a topic would take.
