Jonathan Garrett has just lost everything in the Crash of ’29. His business partners and best friends, Aryl Sullivan and Caleb Jenkins, must rally together to adjust to a sudden and violent shift in lifestyle. Jonathan, a natural born leader, is forced to rent a rundown tenement apartment from an old business rival who does not hesitate to torment Jonathan and his wife, Ava. Aryl, an opportunist and hopeless romantic, steps up to lead the group while working to maintain a realistic level of hope for his wife, Claire, as Jonathan spirals into oblivion and contemplates suicide.
