Reach for the Stars

by Lucy Walker

On a visit to England, the Australian Mrs. Franklin met Great-Aunt Cassie's glamorous niece. She thought how perfectly she would do as a wife for her nephew Lang, who controlled her properties. When she returned home to Kalamunda she wasted no time in inviting Mrs. Boyd and her delightful niece to come out on a visit. Mrs. Boyd was happy to accept the invitation for herself and her niece, but that was the point at which complications arose, because Aunt Cassie had two nieces.
