When Rose Bennett meets Cliff Patterson at a party it's love at first sight for both of them. Within weeks they are engaged and Rose is blissfully happy. Cliff has to return to South Africa, but he promises to send for her as soon as possible. As she waits in London, the future seems crystal-bright to Rose.
